Maravilla: Labradoodle breeder.

The history of Labradoodle Maravilla: Our grandparents were already breeding when we were babies, and today we are three, almost four generations of animal lovers. If you are looking for an Australian cobberdog, which is the most correct way to talk about the purebred Labradoodle, welcome to Our Wonder Family. We are breeders by love and conviction; we unite love and science to bring to your family the best life companion you could ever dream of and we are certified breeders by the Australian MDBA: breeder member 40381 De las Maravillas. But back to our story: The yayo and the yaya raised Golden Retriever as a hobby, it was a time of mouth to mouth breeding, of exchanging males with breeders from Madrid or Barcelona. With a lot of pain, we stopped breeding because hip dysplasia plagued the Labrador and Golden world. The main cause, as we now know, was inbreeding; and that is why we now travel the world to bring dogs from as far away as possible and we do genetic tests to get the healthiest Labradoodles in the world. When our grandfather retired, the Labradoodle was just beginning its journey. It was a Belgian breeder who told him about this breed, then flourishing in the distant lands of Australia. Years later, thanks to this breeder, they got their first two Australian Labradoodles, which already showed more than interesting characteristics.
It was our parents who, seeing that the grandparents needed something to do, traveled to Australia to bring back four adult females and one adult male. So they went back to breeding until we, the third generation, decided to take a scientific and digital leap, hired veterinarians, became part of a zoological nucleus... and professionalized the adventure. We have suckled breeding since our childhood, but, as good students of science, we have delved into the depths. We have learned genetics beyond Mendelian genetics and have managed to combine our science with the love and know-how of our grandparents and parents. Basically, we do nothing different from so many other excellent breeders around the world. The reality is that from each of them we have taken a piece of the puzzle that makes up Labradoodle Maravilla.
By the way, Maravilla is the name of our grandmother's house: Villa Maravilla.
The Australian Cobberdog: The perfect companion.
First of all breed nomenclaturebecause this can be even confusing. When we talk about labradoodle we talk about many types of labradoodle, they can be of one generation of several, but many times we do not know exactly how they are going to be. When we talk about Australian Cobberdog we are talking about a labradoodle of many, many generations whose genes are stable and that has a consolidated genealogical line. In addition to being registered in MDBA and other associations we have the tranquility that there is a control as such. The difference between the term Australian Cobberdog and Australian Labradoodle is almost more bureaucratic than anything else, depending on the society that certifies them. In the end the important thing is that they are genetically tested and that they are multi-generational. The Australian Cobbedogs are Labradoodles that are a hypoallergenic breed of dog, that do not shed hair and, above all, are very affectionate and calm, but also fun. Regardless of their size, they are more than ready to hike in the mountains, go boating and even accompany us on a sightseeing tour. If there is one thing they like to do, it is to go everywhere with us and receive caresses from people as we pass by them.
Genetic testsOur males and females for breeding are tested by means of the test: H639 CombiBreed Australian Cobberdog which mainly studies: Skeletal Dysplasia, Achromatopsia 2, Centronuclear Myopathy, Degenerative Myelopathy, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Type 1, Gangliosidosis, Elliptocytosis, Episodic Falling Disease, FN, Familial Nephropathy, Hyperuricemia, Macrothrombocytopenia, Malignant Hyperthermia, Microphtalmia (RBP4-related), Modifier of Copper Toxicosis, ATP7A-related, Narcolepsy, Neonatal Encephalopathy, Progressive Retinal Atrophy (crd4-PRA/cord1), Protein Losing Nephropathy (PLN, KIRREL2-related), Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKDef), Skeletal Dysplasia 2 (SD2), Trapped Neutrophil Syndrome (TNS) , Von-Willebrands Disease Type 1, Wilson Disease, ATP7B-related, X-linked Myotubular Myopathy (XLMTM) and some more we are adding. If you want your puppy to be tested specifically there is no inconvenience but it is true that it takes a few weeks or even months, so the ideal is to request it when it is about a month old to have the results before it reaches your family, the cost will depend on the number of pathologies studied, although the truth is that if the parents are free of disease so should be the babies, unless there is a specific mutation.
SIZES - DELIVERY - SOCIALIZATION
Defining Characteristics of Our Dogs
DeliveryGenerally, we wait until three months, they are delivered logically according to the European legislation, with European passport, veterinary health certificate, microchipped and registered in the Spanish registry in the name of the breeder, contract, genetic and viral guarantees, and in case of breeders and competition we provide pedigree, MDBA inscription and genetic test of the parents. We will be delighted if you come to pick up your australian cobberdog in person, but if you prefer us to take it to your home, we will take it to your home. It is essential for us to meet you in person, to know with whom our little son/daughter will stay.
Socialization - EducationWe follow an early socialization program, we expose them to sound stimuli, so that they get used to it and above all they socialize with other dogs and people. They learn to go by car in the final weeks of their training and are taught the basics of education. For families with special requirements, therapy dog, assistance, etc. ask us, we are happy to help you.
Another essential aspect is why we neither castrate nor force to castrate to our dogs. This is something differential and that we do because we prioritize the health of our dogs above all, once in adulthood you will decide with your veterinarian.
Visits: We understand that choosing a new member for your family is a very important decision, so you can come to visit us, meet some adults, if we have a puppy that is already vaccinated, and meet us. Visits are always by appointment, usually last half an hour and we allow a maximum of 2 adults and 3 children per family. As you know the Australian cobberdog breed has become very famous in recent years, so the volume of people who want to come to meet us is impossible to attend, that is why from this year the cost of the visit is 250 euros which will be deducted from the amount of the reservation. For those of you who live a little further away, we can make a video call without any problem. In the visit you will be able to meet some adults, if you have previously booked a puppy we always try that you can meet the parents, but there are times that the daddy is in Australia and they have sent us their little things to breed, it is something that we do a lot to avoid inbreeding. And there are times that even being ours he can be traveling around Europe or the world helping a breeder with his females. In those cases we try to let you know the most similar one we have. The same with the mommies, after the lactation they are thin and exhausted and we usually give them a little break so that they can recover in a wonderful way. Anyway, we always try to make sure you meet the moms and dads of your puppy when you come to pick him up because it is a very nice thing to do.
Australian Labradoodle adoption process: Once we have spoken with you and assessed the size, sex... that best suits your family, we will choose the litter or the ideal puppy for you. Normally a reservation is made by bank transfer. If it is a newborn we wait until they open their eyes to let you know that your puppy is on the way and we send you the first video. Then every fifteen days (approximately) we send you a video, in fact if you see that it takes us a while write us that it is not so easy, the mommies get angry when we touch the babies to take a picture of them. Once microchipped at around two months - two and a half, we send you their microchip number and passport if you need it for pet insurance or other procedures, as well as vaccination status if you also need it. The rest of the payment is made one week before delivery also by bank transfer.
Warranty: According to European legislation, viral and genetic guarantees are granted. Aspects such as final size, shape and characteristics of the hair, color, or other developmental characteristics such as testicular descent, teeth and bite development, as well as developmental alterations are exempted. The final size is multifactorial with hormonal factors involved in it, in case you want a specific size, you should wait until the puppy is one year old. Also the puppy's coat tends to be straight and the level of waviness or curliness is not known until adulthood. The same happens with the hair loss that although it is usually minimal, there can be specimens with more hair loss, although in these cases it is necessary to evaluate dietary issues, allergies, intestinal parasites, dermatitis, incorrect bathing products, or others. The color can change throughout life, becoming darker or lighter with age due to hormonal and environmental factors.

B-. If you have never acquired an Australian Cobberdog for breeding but you have all the licenses of activity, zoological nucleus, etc: We can help you with your MDBA membership with some of the Australian breeders we have worked with and are friends with. We have helped several breeders to get started but the projects have not been completed due to excessive paperwork. Basically they would start with urban compatibility, project, acceptance of the project, environmental plan, sanitary and hygienic plan (made by a veterinarian), application for building permit, end of work, inspection of the building site, application for activity license, inspection and adaptation, application for zoological nucleus for breeding and sale, CNAE tax registration, etc.

Our Clients' Experiences
When we talk about incorporating a puppy at home, everything is illusion and happiness, but it is essential to think about the day to day: that the puppy adapts to our lifestyle and that it really brings happiness to our home. In this, the Australian Cobberdog stands out like no other.
His great learning capacity makes it very easy to educate him, and the fact that he does not lose hair greatly facilitates coexistence, avoiding the feeling that the house is colonized by hair, as happens with the Golden Retriever or other wonderful dogs such as Labrador Retrievers. This is what our customers say:
